Water with fresh lemons, limes and ginger

Here is a post to share a simple and easy to make recipe for a summer drink, made with just a couple of natural ingredients, including fresh lemons, limes and fresh ginger ๐Ÿ•Š my cousin Pete carefully chose a lime tree from a plant nursery where he and his family work just a couple of years ago (in 2016) and there are a lot of limes growing on the lime tree in our garden ๐ŸŒธ I often make the summer drink with fresh lemons and limes from the trees in our garden at home to help to keep as hydrated as possible, and hope the summer drink recipe could be helpful in case it is warm and sunny where you are from too, or in case you love fresh fruits a lot too.

Summer peaches with honey and almonds

Here is a post to share a recipe for summer peaches, with fresh honey and chopped almonds I sometimes make in the summer, when there are a lot of beautiful different kinds of ripe peaches (golden, pink) from countryside orchards ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธ for the recipe you would just need a couple of ripe peaches, fresh honey and whole natural almonds, and you could also include creamy yoghurt and any other kind of fruit you enjoy, or a different kind of fruit in case you cannot find any peaches close by to where you are (could also include strawberries, watermelon, oranges, bananas, blueberries).

Quinoa with fresh lemon

Here is quite an easy and simple plant based recipe for quinoa, made with fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper and olive oil, with roasted and fresh veggies. I often make the recipe for lunch if I can and the recipe has just a couple of ingredients you could hopefully find in your garden or at your local shop or fruit and veggie market, including quinoa, fresh lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper, veggies to roast, fresh veggies and fresh herbsย ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธย I am also hoping to be as plant based as possible until Christmas, to help to feel as light and healthy as possible, and to be eco friendly and look after the environment. I am hoping to share a plant based diary a couple of times each month, where I could share a couple of plant based recipes I hope you could enjoy too, and helpful notes about how eating more plant based and whole foods can help to support your beauty, health and wellbeing from the inside outย ๐ŸŒธ

Chicken wraps with fresh veggies

Here is a recipe for chicken wraps with fresh veggies, avocado and herbs I created to make for dinner on Wednesday ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธย the recipe has quite a lot of fresh fruits and veggies with a lot of nutrients, including carrots, courgette, tomatoes, cabbage, avocado and white onion, and is also quite quick to prepare as just the chicken needs to be cooked. In case you are hoping for the recipe to be plant based, you could include tofu or a different kind of plant protein, and you could also change the mozzarella cheese for a plant based cheese if you canย ๐ŸŒธย you could also include different kinds of fresh veggies and herbs, including lettuce, red onion, baby spinach, kale or parsley if you would like to.

A sweet smoothie bowl recipe

Here is a lovely and plant based recipe for a sweet smoothie bowl by beautiful Ella Mills, the founder and creative director of Deliciously Ella. The recipe is from Ella's book Deliciously Ella Every Day and I love all of the healthy and natural recipes, kind and helpful tips and beautiful photos in the book so much ย ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธย the recipe has a lot of natural and caring ingredients, including strawberries, banana, chia seeds and almond butter and could be so lovely to make in the morning for breakfast, or in the daytime if you would like to. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits and the recipe could be helpful to make in the spring and summer in case it is easier to find fresh strawberries. You could also hopefully find all of the ingredients in your garden or at your local shopย ๐ŸŒธ

A raspberry and pear recipe

Here is a simple recipe for a raspberry and pear drink, made with fresh pears and raspberries. The recipe is from a book called 100 Best Health Foods, which has a lot of beautiful recipes made with healthy ingredients from a number of different food groups, including fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts and seeds, and also notes a lot of nutritional information about the healthy foods. The recipe has just a couple of ingredients, including fresh pears, raspberries, water and honey, you could hopefully find in your garden or at your local shop ๐ŸŒธ the recipe could also be lovely to make in the autumn when pears are in season and you could hopefully be able to find fresh pears a bit easier ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธ

The Beauty Guide book by Dr Libby

I pre-ordered a copy of Dr Libby's new book called the Beauty Guide a couple of weeks ago, and a parcel with the book just came in the post. As noted in the book, Dr Libby is an internationally acclaimed nutritional biochemist, author and speaker who holds a Bachelor of Health Science (nutrition and dietetics) with Honours and a PhD in Biochemistry, and has twenty years of clinical experience. I bought a copy of another book by Dr Libby calledย Beauty from the Inside Out, which wasย published a couple of years ago, and enjoyed reading the book a lot. Dr Libby's new bookย the Beauty Guide is also so beautiful and so lovely to read and shares a lot of generous and lovingly written information, beauty care tips and solutions about how to look after yourself and to uplift the way you see and feel about yourself as best you canย ๐Ÿ•Š๐ŸŒธ

A couple of honey recipes

Here are a couple of recipes with honey, found in the healthy foods and superfoods book 100 Best Health Foods. I have always loved honey on its own or in a warm lemon, honey and ginger drink, and honey is also one of my favourite ingredients to include in baking or cooking recipes. When I was little I enjoyed watching the bees and honey bees in the garden, and was always curious about where the bees would go after gathering pollen from the flowers, and how the honey was made ๐ŸŒธ
