Strawberries and banana with honey and almonds

Here is a simple and easy to make recipe for strawberries and banana with honey and almonds. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits, and I hope the recipe could be helpful in case you enjoy strawberries a lot too! to make the recipe, you just need fresh strawberries and banana, honey and whole almonds to chop, and you could hopefully find the ingredients for the recipe in your garden and at your local shop or fruit and veggie market.

(serves 1)

Ingredients

  • a couple of handfuls of fresh strawberries (you could also include a different kind of fresh berry you enjoy, or a couple of different kinds)
  • 1 banana
  • a handful of whole almonds
  • a couple of teaspoons of honey (to taste)

Method

Begin by carefully rinsing the strawberries with cold water, chop off the green end, and cut in half (or in quarters in case the strawberries are quite big). Peel the banana, and slice carefully. Add the strawberries and banana into a bowl.

Carefully chop the almonds into rough pieces and sprinkle over the top of the strawberries and bananas. Drizzle the honey on the top, and enjoy

Notes

You could also include more fruits in case you would like to (could include apples, grapes, oranges, grapefruits, blueberries, or a different kind of fruit you enjoy) and you could also include more or a different kind of nut you like (could include walnuts, pecans). In case the honey is quite thick, you could warm it for a couple of seconds in a microwave or in a small pot.

KORA Organics rose quartz heart

I bought a rose quartz heart from KORA Organics a couple of weeks ago, and the rose quartz heart comes in a pretty white box, with a sample of the KORA Organics noni glow face oil, a face illustration on the inside, to help to show the different ways you can use and apply rose quartz heart on the face, and a couple of notes to how to use the rose quartz heart. The KORA Organics rose quartz heart is a beautiful and carefully made shape, a light pink, and quite big. The rose quartz heart is also so soft, gentle and cool on the face, helps the skin to feel soft and looked after and is so lovely to use with the noni glow face oil too (a second blog post about the rose quartz heart coming soon).

Natural beauty care with lavender flowers

I published an earlier post, sharing a couple of natural beauty care ideas with lavender flowers, and a couple of the ideas include creating a natural face scrub with honey and lavender flowers, taking a warm bath with bath salts, lavender oil and lavender flowers and creating a lavender pillow with dried lavender flowers and buds. As noted by Natural Living Ideas, lavender offers a lot of different uses and has been used for centuries because of its cleansing and healing properties. I hope the beauty care ideas could be helpful in case you love lavender flowers too or are hoping to try a couple of natural beauty and skin care ideas for self care, or to share the ideas with a friend.

Organic maca powder

I just bought an organic maca root powder supplement from a health shop who are based in NZ, and just began trying the maca powder supplement. The organic maca powder is byΒ BioBalance, and I had not tried a maca powder supplement before. The organic maca powder supplement is noted to be a superfood, and to help to support a positive uplift in energy, and a lot of other benefits your body, health and wellbeing, including hormonal balance, energy and vitality and a healthy immune system. I feel quite a lot more energised after trying the organic maca powder for the past couple of days (a second blog post about the organic maca powder coming soon).Β

A couple of light blue cotton tops

I also bought a couple of light blue tops for spring and summer, and both of the tops are from Zara. It has been quite a lot warmer in NZ in the past couple of months and I am hoping to wear the cotton tops soon. One of the tops is a pretty soft blue, has a simple shape with quite floaty sleeves and is quite cropped, which could be helpful to wear with girlfriend jeans. The second top is an off the shoulder kind of top in a light soft blue, and has a lot of ruffles and a soft flowing shape. The second top could be helpful to wear with navy pants or quite simple jeans and light blue is one of my favourite colours.

Are there any favourite things you have been enjoying a lot or just began to try in the month of November?
