A natural red lipstick

I made an order for a very gentle restoring oil from Trilogy Products, a lovely natural and eco friendly beauty care brand who are based in New Zealand, a couple of weeks ago. A free lipstick gift was included in the order from Karen Murrell, a natural lipstick brand who are also based in New Zealand, and who make beautiful natural lipsticks with lovely natural and caring ingredients (thank you Karen Murrell πŸ•ŠπŸŒΈ). I had not tried a natural lipstick from Karen Murrell before, although I was hoping to try one and the lipstick is so beautiful and feels so caring and nourishing to use on the lips.

The lipstick comes in a beautiful card package with a feminine illustration and all of the ingredients included in the lipstick are noted on the package. The colour of the lipstick is called fiery ruby, and is a gorgeous warm medium red colour. I currently use a cool red natural lipstick sometimes from the Body Shop, although I had not tried a warm red colour before, and the colour is so beautiful and could look lovely with gold jewellery and cream, white or natural clothing colours. The lipstick feels so gentle on the lips, is buildable, and also lasts for a quite a long time. I often add some of the lipstick on my cheeks too as a blusher, to help to add a warm colour to the face.

As noted on the Karen Murrell website, the fiery ruby lipstick (colour number 21) is part of a new collection called Princesses of the Golden Petals, a luxurious collection with creamy and opulent details, to help to bring out the princess in every one. Further, the colours were created by Karen for a modern day princess, who is both strong, independent, fierce and beautiful. Further, natural ingredients, including avocado oil, evening primrose oil, candelilla, carnauba wax, cinnamon and sweet orange are noted to be used to help to create nourishing and long lasting lip colours, which are heavenly to wear.

Have you tried a natural lipstick form Karen Murrell lipsticks too?
