A lemon and honey drink recipe

Here is a recipe for a warm lemon, honey and fresh ginger drink my Mum used to make when we were little and had a coldย ๐Ÿฏย I often make the lemon and honey drink when the weather is cooler in the autumn and winter or if I have a cold, as the lemons in the drink are full of vitamin C and the honey helps to soothe a sore throat.

The lemon and honey drink is also good to make if you feel like a fresh drink with natural ingredients and flavours, or if you really enjoy lemons, honey or ginger. The recipe has just a few ingredients and is quite easy to make, and could be helpful for using up spare lemons or limes too in case you have a lemon or lime tree in your garden.

  • 2 or 3 tablespoons of cold water
  • Boiling water

Method

Combine the lemon (or lime) juice, honey, fresh ginger and cold water into a mug and fill up with freshly boiling water.
